As her children grew up, Miri went into the jewelry wholesale business for a few years and finally decided to open her own store, importing jewelry from all over the world. Opening Topaz Custom Jewelry & Accessories was a way for her to share with customers her love for fashion, passion for dealing with people, and her exquisite taste in jewelry.

An integral part of Topaz has been its ongoing involvement with charitable organizations such as Princess Margret Hospital, The Ovarian Cancer Foundation and The Hospital for Sick Children.
